Does the Roof Stay or Go?
The first question is whether the existing roof still provides a foundation worth keeping.
If it is sound enough to preserve, Restore may make sense. If it is not, complete replacement allows Highroad to expose the deck and address what is underneath.
Paying for tear-off you don't need doesn't make the finished roof better.
Same Complete-Replacement Philosophy. Different Material Build.
Permanent 100
Highroad's balanced premium complete-replacement roof.
100-mil target ArmorFlex UV film build
25-Year Transferable Highroad Warranty
Extreme 200
Highroad's maximum-build complete-replacement roof.
200-mil target ArmorFlex UV film build
Lifetime Transferable Highroad Warranty
Extreme 200 targets twice the ArmorFlex UV film build of Permanent 100. This is a thickness statement, not a claim that every mechanical property doubles.
Start With Roof Condition, Then Choose the Build.
How does a roof qualify for Restore?
Highroad evaluates roof condition, moisture concerns, soft areas, membrane adhesion, previous repairs, penetrations, edges and transitions. Restore is only recommended when the existing roof provides a suitable foundation.
Why do the three systems have different warranties?
Restore preserves part of the existing roof assembly. Permanent 100 and Extreme 200 use complete tear-off and different target ArmorFlex UV material builds. All three warranties are provided by Highroad and are subject to the written warranty terms.
Is Extreme 200 twice as strong as Permanent 100?
No. Extreme 200 targets twice the ArmorFlex UV film build: 200 mils compared with 100 mils. That does not mean every mechanical property doubles.
What happens if damaged decking is found?
Damaged substrate is evaluated and repaired as required before the new complete-replacement roof is finished.
Can ArmorFoam insulation be added?
ArmorFoam may be an option on qualifying complete-replacement roofs where suitable roof cavities are accessible.
How much does each roof system cost?
Actual price depends on RV size, roof condition, deck damage, preparation, rooftop equipment, options and the selected roof system.
