Reflective Roofing and Insulation Are Different Jobs.
Highroad uses a bright white ArmorFlex UV exterior roof to reduce unnecessary solar heat absorption. ArmorFlex UV itself is not thermal insulation.
On qualifying complete-replacement projects, Highroad can also evaluate ArmorThane ArmorFoam closed-cell spray polyurethane foam. ArmorThane publishes an aged insulation value of about R-6.5 per inch, so two inches is approximately R-13 through the foam itself.
